Barefoot Shakespeare is thrilled to present our 2021 Mainstage, a virtual production of
Julia Caesar. Zoom Links to come.

Change is inevitable. Those who try to thwart it will be crushed by its weight.

In a restrictive, cutthroat, closeted world, Caesar comes to power. She has one goal: to usher in a new society of acceptance, generosity and openness. But in this world, change must be in the right package at the right time to be embraced…even when the rising tide would raise all ships. Change is coming, no matter who tries to stop it.

TW: This play contains themes of violence, self-harm and suicide. This production will explore themes of misgendering, homophobia and violence against people of color.
